🏖Cabarete Beach: Homemade Mamajuana & Seafood @ Acuario's Cafe SO GOOD | Gotta❤ Dominican Republic
6 years ago
I walked off of Cabarete Beach and was astounded at the black lights and the beautiful fish aquariums full of life inside this restaurant. I ordered mama juana (the local homebrew alcohol), and the most delicious local seafood that I have had in a long time. Once we ordered, then the whole family owned restaurant got to work in the kitchen. This was food from scratch, and a family operation. I ordered from the daughter, and then she immediately joined the open kitchen with momma and poppa to help prepare our food. They served a fish cooked in your choice of style, such as cajun, local, or Thai style.
We found it to be extremely great value. If you get to Sosua or Cabarete, I can highly recommend going here for your food. The total for 2 people with drinks came to 1,400 pesos ($28 usd).
They also make pizza. Considering how amazing our fish was, I assume the pizza would be equally amazing.
Thanks for watching. Please show support with a comment or thumbs up. :)
