We were experimenting with some fruits to make some cool drink for summer. I heard something, it was my phone. I asked one of my friends to take the call. He was my uncle on the other side and he used to talk with me every day even if he has nothing to talk and I kind of try to ignore him. I did the same that day also. He was trying to reach me every 10 mins and my friend was trying to tell him that I wasn't around. After trying for almost 6-7 times, he stopped calling. To surprise me he came to my house after an hour and started yelling at me. That was weird. I gave him some foolish excuses and asked him the purpose of those calls. He told me that my dad wasn't well and I need to rush to his place. I was surprised that way did they called him and not me. But anyways... I packed my bag and rushed for any mean of transportation. Some how I reached his place after 4 hours of travel. I was very close to my father. I have seen a kind of regret in his eyes all of his life (that's all for another day I guess). All of my friends wish to have a dad like him. He always use to say that no one would ever have sleep hungry if I have enough to feed them. He taught me how to be kind, respectful, thankful and to be happy with what all you have. I can see a lot of people standing outside my house talking about something. I thought that he might be serious, so I rush inside. He died that morning. Everything within me shattered. It seems like there is nothing left for me in this world to do. It's been 15 years now and I can't express how much I miss him. Every day my daughter ask me about her grandfather and why he left us.
