Sanctuary 3 - Healing Hands [ ASMR ]
I realized about a week before this video that I never did one consisting strictly of hand movements, even though I've used the technique here and there in various videos over the years. While I plan on some more creative videos around this idea (ala Relaxation with a Deep One), I first wanted to do a more traditional video, not just because I owe you folks who don't like my more creative works but put up with them, but also because it's about time I do another video in this particular series dedicated to my friends in need.
The Sanctuary video series is focused on helping those who deal with mental and/or physical hardships such as PTSD, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, addiction, loss of loved ones and more. While anyone can benefit from this video or any other videos of mine (or other ASMR creators for that matter), I personally dedicate this particular series to those who could use some much needed support, empathy, understanding, peace of mind and possibly a little TLC. ;)
Thanks as always for watching and for your support. Stay tuned for more videos in this series dedicated to more real life issues like quitting smoking, addiction and more.
All my best,
ER

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.
